We at Sinister Coffee and Creamery enjoy our weekends with a cocktail, coffee and a good scare. Check out our blog on making cold brew concentrate needed to make your coffee cocktails shine. We recommend using our flavor packed medium roasts like our Medium Organic Peruvian Roast or our Premonition Organic Medium Roast. This is an adult beverages intended for those 21 and older; drink responsibly.

Ingredients:

1/4 cup Rye whiskey
2 Tbsp. Sweet Vermouth.
2 Tbsp. cold brew concentrate
2 dashes Bitters (see below) to make your own ginger bitters

Utensils:

Mixing glass, Mixing spoon, Cocktail strainer,
Cocktail glass

Directions:

Fill mixing glass with ice. Add ingredients, stir until very cold. Strain and serve.

Making Ginger Bitters

Ginger bitters are a fun side project for the home bartender. Basically, choose a high proof alcohol, vodka would be my suggestion, but in this case rye whiskey would be fantastic. Infuse 1 inch of peeled and chopped ginger in the alcohol for 2-7 days in a sterile glass mason jar. Make sure you cover your bitters. Strain and use for ginger cocktail bitters. If you choose not to make your own-you can purchase bitters at a liquor store with your whiskey.
